We are limiting entries to one conference, so please choose wisely!

How long will it take for you to choose a winner?

It should take 6 to 10 business days after the deadline. I have a panel of judges reviewing applications, and you will be notified via email.

How many scholarships will be given?

I have a total of four scholarships that I'm giving away.

Are flights, hotels, and transportation included?

No, flights, hotels, and ground transportation are not included.The Peculiar Conference is located in Towson, Maryland (outside of Baltimore BWI Airport), and the Thrive Photo Conference is located in Santa Barbara, California (SBA). Hotel options are located on their respective web sites.

Terms and Conditions

Please read as this section is very important.

Eligibility:

  • The scholarship contest is open to all aspiring photographers aged 18 and above.

  • International participants are welcome to enter.

  • Employees and immediate family members of the conference organizers are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter:

  • Fill out the scholarship entry form on our website, providing accurate and complete information.

  • Optional, create a 30-second video stating why you should win this scholarship.

Selection Process:

  • All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of esteemed photographers.

  • The winner will be selected based on the quality of the entry.

  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Notification:

  • The winner will be notified via email within six to ten business days of the scholarship deadline.

  • If the selected winner does not respond within two business days, an alternate winner may be chosen.

Scholarship Details:

  • The scholarship covers the full cost of conference registration.

  • Travel expenses, accommodations, and other incidental costs are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.

  • The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefits.

Usage Rights:

  • By participating in the scholarship contest, entrants grant the conference organizers the right to use their photo for promotional purposes.
